Mick Burgwal

Mick Burgwal is a Rotterdam-based creative who's passionate about working on concept, design, and social observation and how these all come together. His work explores the unwritten rules that shape how people behave, feel, and present themselves in public.

With a bachelor's degree in advertising from the Willem de Kooning Academy, Mick develops projects that combine research, storytelling, and design interventions. His concepts often translate complex social themes into tangible experiences, like objects, installations, or campaigns that invite people to reflect, participate, or simply see something familiar in a new way. Rather than shouting messages, Mick prefers subtle interventions that create small moments of awareness in everyday environments.
